Being a leader is never easy. It requires strength. This strength…. is not about physical prowess but the strength of character. A leader must have a tenacious mind to shoulder the weight of responsibility and be prepared to take on the challenges that come with it. However, leadership without a vision is like a ship without a rudder floundering in the vastness of the sea. Because your heart lies where the vision is. It gives a sense of purpose to the young leaders on the cusp of adulthood and a passion to realize it.
Leaders are role models, who inspire their followers and motivate them to reach the target of success. The investiture ceremony is one of the most important ceremonies of our school. It is a traditional feature of every school and is eagerly awaited by all the students of the school. Year after year, it reminds us of the trust and confidence that we repose in our newly elected cabinet. They all pledge to dispense their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school. The school has been always inspired by the vision of its founder that every child who comes to this temple of learning must be a person filled with knowledge, discipline, and respectfulness. Delegation of responsibility and giving authority to children is important as it teaches them lifelong skills. Our students are standing here on the brink of a new chapter in their lives. In this ceremony, the newly elected leaders' swearing-in will be a gracious moment for all to witness the emerging leaders. Today as we celebrate the investiture of our new student councilors, we would also like to thank our graduating student leaders in the student council for their contribution to the school.
