A tribute to great scientist Stephen Hawking, on his birth anniversary.
Hawking was the first to set out a theory of cosmology explained by a union of the general theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He also contributed to String Theory. Hawking's scientific works included a collaboration with Roger Penrose on gravitational singularity theorems in the framework of general relativity and the theoretical prediction that black holes emit radiation, often called Hawking radiation.
He was born on 8 January 1942 and ended his journey on 14 March 2018.
One of his great sayings is, "However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at."
