Oldest Telescope



Built by the University of Chicago in 1897 in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, Yerkes Observatory is home to the world's largest and oldest refracting telescope and famous astronomers like George Ellery Hale, Edwin Hubble and Carl Sagan worked and studied there.
