Kailash Parvat, also known as Mount Kailash, is a sacred peak located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China and is considered a spiritual symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Standing at about 6,680 meters (21,843 feet), it is regarded as the abode of Lord Shiva in Hindu tradition and a pilgrimage site for spiritual practitioners. The mountain's unique, symmetrical shape and its surrounding holy rivers and sites make it a significant symbol of spiritual purity and divine power. Despite its towering presence, Kailash Parvat remains largely unclimbed, emphasising its spiritual significance over physical conquest.
